Couples Counseling

There are times in every marriage when the help of an outside and unbiased counselor can be priceless. Marriage can be difficult because we get into habits that aren’t helpful to create a strong relationship. A Professional Licensed Counselor can help you if you are experiencing some of the following things in your marriage/relationship:

Sign 1 – Poor Communication:

Do you find you are talking less, fighting more, or maybe not talking at all? A counselor can help you to clear and resolve issues that are difficult to discuss.

Sign 2 – Releasing the Past:

As humans, we often have difficult letting go of painful experiences and it can interfere with the marriage. Traumatic events from the loss of a child, extramarital affairs, or many other things can create a block between couples.

Sign 3 – Reoccurring Issues:

The same problem keeps reoccurring in your marriage and causing conflict. Even though it is frequently discussed, it is keeping you from moving forward in your relationship.

Sign 4 – Finances:

Disagreements over money are one of the most common issues for arguments in a marriage. Often two people can have completely different spending/saving styles, and that can create huge amounts of conflict.

Sign 5 – Kids:

Children can bring a family together and they can also tear a family apart. If two parents don’t communicate regarding their children or their marriage, the home can become a war zone dividing the family and creating an environment that doesn’t support growth for the children and the family as a whole.

Sign 6 – You still love your spouse:

Even though things are difficult, you love your spouse and want to make the best life possible. You envision a better life for yourself and wish to spend your future with your current partner.
