I utilize a variety of tools, while attending to the unique needs of each client.
I am able to work with ages 6 through adult which includes individuals, couples, and families. I enjoy working with people and helping them to become more empowered and healthy. I treat depression, anxiety, OCD, relationship issues, stress management, and other life issues. Often treatment involves the need for a skilled therapist to work with multiples of issues at the same time. I employ a relaxed conversational style of therapy allowing for a comfortable environment for change and growth to occur.
With over 20-years of experience of a Psychotherapist, my work focuses on treating the whole person in a client-centered approach. I do not use a cookie-cutter type of treatment for my clients. I use Cognitive Behavioural Therarpy and several other treatment modalities. I am also certified in Hypnotherapy. If requested, hynotherapy can also be used to enhance traditional therapy.
I received by Bachelors of Science at LaRoche College and my MSW from the University of Pittsburgh.
